Non-habitable projects are buildings, structures or items that are not dwelling types. Examples can be bus shelters, furniture, lighting, garages, fences and bridges.
One of the largest categories is furniture which can include cabinets, racking, partitions, tables and chairs for offices, retail and exhibitions. These are all items that are not attached to a building and so not covered by the residential or commercial categories. It is important to define your project correctly to ensure the most suitable product is selected. To help in this process we utilise:
1. Industry standards for powder coatings
2. Environmental conditions utilising AS4312 as a guide
*DGL products that meet AAMA 2603, 2604, 2605 and AS3715 are supported for DGL Alumi Shield warranties on interior and exterior applications when applied by a DGL Accredited Powder Coater to the warranty specification on recommended project types and conditions.
The following table can be used to help identify the product choice you have for the interior use of DGL Powder Coatings on your non-habitable project.
